Yine

La lengua originaria del pueblo Yine es el Yine, perteneciente a la familia lingüística Arawak, y es hablada principalmente en las provincias de Ucayali en la región Loreto; Atalaya y Purús, en Ucayali; La Convención, en Cusco y en Tambopata, Manu y Tahuamanu, en Madre de Dios. Los resultados de los censos nacionales 2017 indican que por el idioma o lengua materna con el que aprendió a hablar en su niñez han sido 2,680 personas que han manifestado que hablan la lengua Yine que corresponde al 0,05% del total de lenguas originarias a nivel nacional.

Al pueblo Yine se le conoce también como ‘piro’, denominación que ha sido empleada desde los pueblos vecinos y otros foráneos para distinguir a este pueblo. La palabra “Yine”, en cambio, provendría de yineru, que en lengua indígena se traduce como ‘verdaderos hombres’, ‘ser humano’ o ‘gente por excelencia’.

Este aplicativo informático (SO Android), hecho en Iquitos Perú, facilita a personas hablante o no hablante, aprender la lengua Yine a través de sonidos e imágenes. Entre los contenidos relevantes tenemos las vocales, las consonantes, los números, la familia, los colores,las frutas, los animales , las expresiones entre otros.

El objetivo es que además de aprender en su propia lengua, es empoderar al hablante de mostrar que su lengua puede ser usado en otro medios, en este caso lo tecnológico y así de esta forma fortalecer las lenguas amazónicas.

El IIAP trabaja intensamente en desarrollar nuevas herramientas tecnológicas informáticas, con un concepto de inclusión social, que permita rescatar y consolidar la información sobre las lenguas de las comunidades indígenas.

Among the relevant contents we have the vowels, the consonants, the numbers, the family, the colors, the fruits, the animals, the expressions among others.

The objective is that in addition to learning in their own language, it is to empower the speaker to show that their language can be used in other media, in this case the technological and thus strengthen the Amazonian languages.

The IIAP works hard to develop new technological tools, with a concept of social inclusion, which allows to rescue and consolidate information on the languages ​​of indigenous communities.
